Why handcrafted Buffalo leather backpacks
The first thing that comes to mind when I think about buying a leather backpack is of course handcrafted Buffalo leather. Why, well because Buffalo leather has been used for centuries to make anything needing tough durability like boots, boot uppers, leather backpacks, wallets, duffels, and many other types of bags.
Kebos leather backpacks are handcrafted which ( that’s what we base our brand around, only handcrafted) makes them super durable, and smooth and just have that natural leather look and feel you can’t get from most machine made more expensive leather bags. At Kebos, we strive to set ourselves apart by producing handcrafted leather backpacks which are made a bit different than others as we double-stitch the most important areas and add extra layers around corners for extra long-life durability and protection. The handles are also riveted on most of our bags and along with heavy stitching which also gives them an appealing look. You’d just have to get your hands on the bag to see for yourself and we promise a nice arrival of your investment. The inside of our backpacks is nicely equipped with a soft polyester liner for a soft touch and plenty of storage as well as heavy-duty zippers.
You’ll also enjoy the soft adjustable shoulder sling strap as well if you prefer to carry it. These handcrafted backpacks are very versatile as they are large but can just about for anywhere like busses, trains to airplane uppers storage compartments.
Leather backpacks for anyone
We produce several different types of backpacks for just about anyone. You don’t have to be tough or rugged to enjoy a hardy-made bag, you just have to want a quality high-end bag like ours which you’ll be glad you did. If you like simple styles we have simple-style backpacks, if you like vintage-style backpacks, travel type, or adventure styles we have those too. Our elegant handcrafted backpacks are used quite often for the professional going to work often now as some prefer a backpack to a briefcase. Many college and high school students love our leather backpacks as they handle the rough nature and constant on-the-move nature of busy students.
Are your Buffalo leather backpacks waterproof?
No. Buffalo leather does have a natural water repellency though but not advised to leave your bag outside or subject the bag to a lot of water at once. Sure some rain will not affect your bag but this brings to mind conditioning your leather backpack or bag at least once per year. If water or rain does happen to soak your backpack you’ll need to let it dry completely before using it again. You’ll then need to condition your backpack again and you should be good to go.
Me, I actually wipe mine down a few times a month, especially on the bottoms where they are in direct contact with the ground, so much more than the sides of the bag. I do a full clean twice per year and that seems to help waterproof mine just fine. The good thing about leather is that it can be cleaned fairly easily as long as you don’t get grease or oil on heavily.
Your handcrafted leather backpack is an investment
Is your leather backpack an investment? Yes of course especially when you purchase a name-branded bag such as Kebos. We will not work with any leathers other than handcrafted genuine or top-grain Buffalo leather materials. In today's time when money matters and quality reins for the smart-minded, your ownership of a high-end custom backpack like Kebos will last you years to come and countless road trips. Remember your leather bag does get beautiful over time with a fine patina that forms over the material. It’s natural and appealing as well.
Are Buffalo leather backpacks a new thing
Buffalo leather backpacks or bags are nothing new but have recently made a strong come back especially the vintage style as many of ours offered to you. Most professional leather artisans choose to work with Buffalo leather as it’s very durable and tough but soft and smooth to the touch. You get everything in a leather backpack that you could ever need. These types of backpacks have been produced for a very long time and there’s a good reason for that, which is the quality of cow leather as well as the thickness of the material. This material dates back centuries as Buffalo leather is preferred over cow leather.
